Guest guest
Mark, can you tell us what kind of procedure they did on you, I'm assuming it was RF? Any other experiences during this procedure you think might be helpful to those of us contemplating it? P <MI>

I was told months prior to going in that my EP was essentially going to put a wall up in the right atrium so the beats travelled around a path rather than moving back and forth in a short cut. In the lab I had a grounding patch stuck on my back. I was told this was due to the currents being put into the heart. I was cardioverted during the procedure as I went into a-fib while he worked on the flutter. Other than waking up the following morning in a-fib, I had no negative experiences with the procedure. The most painful part for me was the pressure applied to the groin to stop the bleeding. I am bruised pretty good in my groin area, and have quite the shave job on my chest. I don't know if this helps at all, hopefully it does. Mark 31 Vancouver Propafanone, Asprin
