Guest guest
the doctor should have given it to him as soon as he found out about the AFIB. It is scary that we put our lives in their hands and hope. My first Cardiologist had me on Cordarone and Aspirin. Thank God I questioned this after a while. I am only 52 and long term Cordarone use has deadly results. Pulmonary Fibrosis is one of them. Once you get it that's it. My girlfriend just had a double lung transplant from that. She nearly died. Aspirin is not good enough. sotalol not working as an adendum to my last post: He is also taking coumadin since the stroke Web Page - http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AFIBsupport FAQ - http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AFIBsupport/files/Administrative/faq.htm For more information: http://www.dialsolutions.com/af Unsubscribe: AFIBsupport-unsubscribe List owner: AFIBsupport-owner For help on how to use the group, including how to drive it via email, send a blank email to AFIBsupport-help Nothing in this message should be considered as medical advice, or should be acted upon without consultation with one's physician. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Guest guest
How long has he been on the sotalol? Sometimes it takes a couple of weeks for blood levels to level out and meds to start working properly. Just a thought.
