Phase 1, week 2 weigh in

Ok, after two weeks on phase 1, I have lost 'maybe' 1 or 2 pounds. I don't know my bodyfat because I had to go to a different place to get it done than where i originally did it, and they used this machine that you hold to calculate it. I know from previous research those machines don't work well if you have a lot of muscle. It said my bodyfat went up 9 percent in two weeks? I don't think so. I'm pretty good at guessing my own bodyfat after all these years and I'm thinking it's about the same as what I started with. I am going to have the same woman do it that did it the first time, problem is she doesn't work for another couple of weeks.

I wish I could have lost more like everyone wants on here, but will just try to stay positive that it was real weight lost and not just carb. I do think my waist went down a little bit, under an inch but ok, when it goes down 2-3 more inches i will believe it.

I'm going on to phase 2, which is pretty much the way I eat anyway, until after the holidays.

FWIW - I lost only a few lb on Phase 1 but managed to lose another 40

on Phase 2. Hang in there.

THANKS for saying that. I am hanging in there.

btw, I was sitting here, staring at these three Heath candy bars my roommate left as part of her Christmas present to me, saying, "I'm on phase two now, what the heck, I can have one..." But then remembered I can have fruit now, so I went and grabbed an orange instead!!! Yay. Now I'm mixing music to take to the gym, going to do my own cycling class ( the instructor teaching earlier was too boring). I was also just not going to go to the gym, I'm tired, and it's COLD outside, but decided I'm going anyway. This music I'm mixing rocks, too.

Thanks for the motivation! My friend who started same day I did, just called a little while ago. She lost 12 lbs. in the first two weeks! I'm glad for her. At least I lost something (I hope).
