Guest guest
is, a small reminder: detoxification is all about good wholesome food, optimizing bowel, digestion, liver and kidney functions etc etc. That's a lot of work to do !already !! Noel. mercury toxicity the continuing saga -- have been working with Dr. Callahan, founder of the Callahan Technique and author of TAPPING THE HEALER WITHIN. He's expensive but really getting me to look at how a toxic exposure can bring on depression, migraines, sinus congestion. He said elecricity is not a problem, it's the toxins that create the electricity....so kids, that's something to think about. I'm going thru bouts of depression and weakness of the right side these days but have started back with the QX slowly.Any good insights on how to treat mold problems? Guest guest
Hi, the Rife therapy is pretty good with assisting with molds, so you can check on the net for "rife frequencies" for molds, along with taking your remedies, if your doctor agrees with the combination of therapies. Check with him first. All the different versions of mold shown on the QX, high and low numbers, may make a difference - some are more dangerous than others. Also, molds seem to feed on metals, so check to make sure aluminum or other overload of metals is not allowing the molds to proliferate; a one-two punch for assistance. (I am fairly new to the QX, but seem to remember that someone indicated checking the homeopathic group to see if remedies for metals are showing up, possibly indicating a metal toxicity.)willowoman2003 <a.rotella@...> wrote: the continuing saga -- have been working with Dr. Callahan, founder of the Callahan Technique and author of TAPPING THE HEALER WITHIN. Guest guest
I have for my autistic son but not my asperger son. My autistic son's level for antimony was off the chart. The lab mentioned to the doctor that signed for the lab (not my son's regular doctor) that they thought it was for an autopsy and was surprised he is still alive. He also tested very high for cadmium and numerous other metals were moderately high. I found the source of his antimony to be from his Graco Pack N Play which he slept in as a crib for his first 2 years of life. > Curious .. has anyone done testing for heavy metals in their kids? > > Kathy
Guest guest
We've been tested for lead twice. Both levels were normal. He chewed on everything as a baby and toddler, so they tested him before we ever knew he was Autistic. Chelatingkids2 is the big one. My big hope is to do this by the end of the summer. The DAN! doctor I want him to see is very expensive, and the tests can be very costly. It's really worth it though. I'm sure my ds's autism is due to mercury in his vaccines. He has the physical signs, gut signs ect. Email me privately if you want to. Guest guest
Lead is the only metal that most mainstream doctors test for. Many autistic kids have high levels of other metals that are not detected since many doctors will not recognize their existance or danger. My son was high in many metals but not in lead. The last time he was tested for lead was 2 weeks ago and it showed normal. This was odd to me since the week before he ate almost a whole pencil - lead and all. > > > Curious .. has anyone done testing for heavy metals in their kids? > > > > Kathy > > > > > > > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------ ------ > > *

Pencils do not contain lead, they are made of wood (usually, although it may be other things these days) and graphite - the black part in the centre which does the actual writing. in England
Guest guest
Monnica .. oh that's creepy the lab thought it was for an autopsy. Are you going to do chelation for him? Do you think you'll test your son with AS? My son supposedly has AS ... Kathy
Guest guest
The hair test is fine if it is ongoing, recent exposure. If it is exposure weeks, months or years ago they are not accurate. Any urine tests have the same accuracy unless provacation is used. Guest guest
Is there a definate causation link yet? I mean is it actually proven? If so , we should be all sue the immunisation producing drug companies! I would hate to think something like this caused my child's ASD , this means it wasn't meant to be! Guest guest
We have not tested, but have started our son on PCA-RX about 2.1 months ago. PCA is a very mild form of chelating without all the risks of traditional chelators. It gets the metals out but does not remove the needed minerals in the body. It is also a " body cleaner " that helps remove other junk aside from metals. My understanding of chelation is that if there isnt anything to remove you will stop seeing progress. Since we have began we have seen some great progress indeed. My son is AS / PDD-NOS / HF, mainstreamed with a couple hours a day spent in special ed class and is doing well. However, he is still a 9 year old boy and with that comes a natural reluctance to school work! lol But it is improving! > Curious .. has anyone done testing for heavy metals in their kids? > > Kathy
Guest guest
I cannot afford to pay out of pocket for chelation and the doctor my insurance covers will not agree with it. I briefly tried to do it on my own using ALA but it really stirred up a yeast problem. I intend to try it again sometime in the future but I just had a baby so now is not the time. I also do not have the money to test my AS son but he said when I do chelation again with his younger brother, he would like to do it too. > Monnica .. oh that's creepy the lab thought it was for an autopsy. > Are you going to do chelation for him? Guest guest
There have been numerous studies done showing the link but the medical community will never admit it. There is just not enough money to fight them. I would suggest you check out " What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Children's Vaccines " by Dr. Cave (a pediatrician) or " Evidence of Harm " by Kirby (journalist for New York Times). No matter what doctors say, autism is NOT something our kids were born with. You cannot have an epidemic from a purely genetic condition. In California, autism increased by 300% in 10 years. How can you blame that on genetics? I agree that genetics may be part of the picture but in that some are more susceptible to environmental assults. It just doesn't make sense to inject mercury into the body when it is know to cause harm. Many vaccines have replaced mercury with aluminum which is not much better. I recently took my 4 month old to a new pediatrician since I have him on MediCal. He wanted to inject 6 viruses into my baby at one time. Doctors tell you to keep your child home the first few months to protect them from sickness yet inject it right into their bodies. If a child's immune system is immature, why do they do it so early - and so many. It baffles the mind. When I told the doctor I only wanted 2 vaccines on that day and would return later for the rest, he refused to ever see my son again! We are being forced into it. Not this time. I am going to protect this child the best I know how. > > Curious .. has anyone done testing for heavy metals in their kids? > > > > Kathy
Guest guest
Hi Kaz, I do not believe they have ever proven what may or may not cause autism. They know that some metals, such as lead, can cause brain damage, that they know. As to the immunizations, I was told that my son may have gotten his brain damage from them, not from the mercury but from the dead virus cells they were using for whooping cough vaccine, the kind they used in the 60s. But even that they cannot prove, can just warn parents that brain damage "could" happen to children receiving the shots, I once heard 1 in 300,000 may receive brain damage. Seems like about everything is dangerous and can cause some level of damage, all vaccines and medications. It is just true. I bought a book today at the Book Fair at my granddaughters school called, "Body Baddies," All about the mini-monsters living on you! Pictures of all sorts of little creatures living up your nose, and on your skin, and things you can get from uncooked meat and mosquitoes, aaaaaaaaaaa, now I wonder if I should have bought it. Ignorance was bliss!!!! Lots of love to you all, and please don't worry, just trust in the Lord, He knows what is going on, and He is a very present help in the time of trouble. We can count on that alone, and nothing else really, I don't think. Carolyn in Oregon Re: mercury toxicity Is there a definate causation link yet? I mean is it actually proven? Guest guest
I agree! It is just absolutely disheartening that this even takes place, never mind the attitude of the pediatricians!!
