Guest guest
I just read the post, saying " it really is a living hell " . I assume, Carole, that you're talking about living with diabetes. Yes, it's one hell of a disease, as Rubin has said, but I prefer not to look at it so negatively. It's a daunting challenge from time to time, but if I look at it as a thorn in my side it's not going to help me at all. And yes, it's annoying to have to schedule your day/activities around testing and food, (and injections or medication, if you're on them) but the alternative isn't acceptable to me. I can either sit around feeling sorry for myself, letting my malfuntioning body/my disorder control me, or treat myself accordingly and move on. Attitude is everything.
