Guest guest Posted November 25, 2005 Report Share Posted November 25, 2005 -- Doctors!!! WOW Suzie...Yeah it sounds scarey but it is nessary dear..Take it from me.. I had a bleed in Walmart once!! Not fun at all..And all I did was sneeze.. Ended up in the hospital for a week..Man I had the mother of all nose bleeds.. Very gross, had the EMT's there and all that..I was leaning over a garbage pail just bleeding away..Transfusions and the had the dreaded Endosopy there..I hope you never have to go though that experiance..Glad to hear the choppers are finnaly fitting better..I know I have told you it took a long time for me to agree to go on the list.. But I am glad I did, really and truly glad..It is a heavy decision to make and I understand..Good to hear that Spyke is behaving.. Good kitty..Mac still thinks he is a Rottweiler.. Funny huh!!! Mr. Bad ass he is..But is January he won't think he is so bad ha ha.. What I mean is they won't climb when he walks...Love ya and take care Suzie.. Good afternoon Everyone, I just got back from the Gastro's office - I'm scheduled for an endoscopy Dec 7th, sounds like a lot of fun - NOT. He tried to talk me into the transplant too. Somehow my parents found out, who knows, I might have told them & just not remember. They are concerned too but I told them my reasoning & they've agreed it's my life & my choice. At least my teeth are fitting better. The lower ones are still painful but better. SpYke says to tell everybody what a good cat he's been lately & it's true,. I'm just waiting for his new mischief, you have to wait for it, there's no chance in hell that he's not planning something to drive me nuts (who could tell?) Guest guest Posted October 5, 2007 Report Share Posted October 5, 2007 Sweet Lea ~As far as my swelling, there are several reasons my hormones that regulate sodium and water in your body are very low, that is why they are gonna so the cortsyn stim test. I had to put it off cuz of the heart attack. Also, I have reduced kidney function with the kidney disease. Plus, my body is flaming with toxins...... Also, when I eat sea salt, it helps with my adrenals, but since my hormones are off that regulate it, and because my kidneys dont regulate it well either, I get double whammy........ So...it is a vicious cycle. My boobs are huge allright, it is rediculous, especially since all my breast tissue was removed.......they go from my naval around under my armpit, the left one is 8-9 lbs ! ......... I just have to rest, and get my feet up. It just moves the fluid to other areas of my body....... I will be ok............no worries..........I am not, just have to be patient til I can have surgery.........Love you bunches, and I will be a good girl ! When I spoke to Dr. Blais the other day, he told me that there must be swelling in my breasts. I told him that I had not noticed any swelling, but he said it could be down under the breast tissue. That could be why our breasts get so big. Then he started to tell me about the fungi eating everything in sight...he lost me for a short while. He told me that, if I am on antibiotics, I must take the antifungal drugs as well. I wish that he had a computer, but he could never keep up with us. Honey, I do not retain fluid, but I wonder why you do? I think that your doctors are not taking very good care of you. This is awful, because you should not have to suffer so much. I am glad Superman retreived your articles, but do understand getting rid toooo, I didnt toss mine they are in boxes in my spare bedroom, outta site...... I do need to pull them out sometime. I have too many other projects I have started, and they are spread out over my den It looks like I am a pig, but after I started it I swelled up and now I cant deal with it, so it just sits there awaiting my getting past this swelling. My body is really stressing right now, I can walk to the kitchen or to the bathroom and my bp spikes 30-40 points. It is only temorary, and goes right back down, but I dont want it to stick and go into V-fib again and shock me........So, I am back to doing nothing again. the fluid is worse this time than its been in a long time, go I gotta get them up in the air. Alittle more time on your synthyroid, and it should kick in and help ! I hope you feel better soon. When do you see your doctor again? Love you both ! !
