Guest guest
>>>>>I Hope with every part of my being that you ALL have the BEST Mother's Day ever. Each and every one of you deserves that....and more!!! Penny<<<<<<<<< Thanks Penny. I'm having a pretty good mother's day so far. We went out for pancakes this morning and both kids were very good. sat queitly and ate his pancakes and bacon, stopping every few bites to say " Happy Mother's Day! " ate happily too, and said hi to everyone who came into the restaurant. We went to an outdoor market afterwards and I chatted with a lovely woman who used to be a ST and now runs a small furnishings shop (the type where a plant pot costs $200). I hope everyone is having a good mother's day. Guest guest
Thanks, Ashana! Happy Mother's Day to you, too! > > A guy on the bus I see every day but don't know said Happy Mother's Day to me this afternoon. It made me think, because I don't have children. > > What it made me think is that most of us have more or less had to raise ourselves. I sometimes compare my background with being raised by wolves, except that they were a lot less nice. We have had to mother ourselves. > > This probably won't reduce anyone's anxiety about their nada's reaction to the whole day, but I was thinking the person who should really be getting the cards and the flowers and fancy gifts on Sunday is us. If we hadn't done such a darn good job of it, most of us would be axe murdurers or worse. I am including the men in this. If you had a nada or a mom consumed by keeping a fada together, you most likely had to be your own father and mother growing up. > > Well done. > > Ashana > > > Now surf faster and smarter !
