I would have loved to meet you. I actually met Gretchen in the waiting room one time! It is all so surreal. The PS makes you think no one could have this happen and then when you go there there are so many women, my mom has gone with me and she chats with everyone in the waiting room and it is amazing. I keep on wishing that all of us could pick a long weekend and meet at Disney World in Florida for some fun. It's the one place where you seem to be able to get good deals from anywhere. I know Terri P. is in Hawaii but maybe we could help her with airmiles. Anyways, that's cool that you met Gretchen in the waiting room at Dr. Kolb's. I keep her in my prayers and hope she is doing okay. Yes, I am struggling with the illness but have chosen to look forward. I thought I was nuts too. I have made the decision that I know I'm sick and I disregard anyone else's opinions whether they be doctors, or anyone. No one is better at being me than me. He took one lookat my incision (it was bulging) and said, meet you atemerg.He froze my breast and out came 300 CC of old blood. This breast of mine just doesn't want to heal. The good thing is I'm in surprisingly good spirits. My Husband although has been nice refuses to give meany sort of sympathy or support because he believesit'll make me depressed. I've just decided, I'm goingto do this without him and my life with him will notinclude any talk about. Yes, I do realize I need toexamine my relationship with him. I just can't do ituntil I'm better. My husband is very self-centered.I'm hanging in there. I'll be okay.
