Mike and I have never had what one would call normal cats. But then, what

is a normal cat? Our first two siblings were wonderful but Mardi was

especially odd and special (I won't go into details). I couldn't have loved

her more! Well, now we have Jasmine and Cartman (both sets are brother and

sister). Recently they had a cold and totally changed their behavior.

Where they normally are more aloof they suddenly became lap cats. Cartman

usually sits beside me and cuddles at night. But, we were both cracking up

because we had this Jasmine, and Cartman too, laying for hours on our laps.

We wondered if we really did want lap cats (this had been our cat complaint

because they weren't lap cats) because once on our lap we couldn't move for

hours. LOL We felt compelled to sit still for them.

Well, now our babies are getting better and going back to their old ways but

with a twist. My latest Fibro pain has been getting a horrible back ache

starting around 4 in the morning. This comes and goes and is recently a big

problem (started about 3 or 4 nights ago. Jasmine, for the last three

nights now, has decided to come up to bed between 4 and 5 am to purr like

crazy and walk all over me with love and settle down somewhere on me. It is

most uncomfortable! Also, it makes me wake up to my awful back pain which

usually doesn't wake me up for another hour. What a nightly combo. I love

her loving me but what an intense kitty! LOL

So, I'm up at 5 am with back pain and writing for lack of anything better to

do. I'm too tired to read my book. So, I'm complaining here. It's my back

that makes all of this a true pain.and man is it painful. It tightens up

from my hip bones to the upper middle of my back.super tight. So, I stretch

and take pills and wait until it subsides enough to go back to sleep.

I'm so tired!

I hope no one else is up in pain.

P.S. While typing, Cartman has decided it's his turn to lay on me and the

computer. It's quite awkward. LOL But he's warm and cuddly.
