Sandy, I cannot say any single supplement helped me the most. Many supplements in fact made me feel sicker. I had to be very selective. I think minerals are very important (especially magnesium). I think probiotics are very important (for digestive health). Anti-oxidants such as milk thistle, alpha lipoic acid and n-acetyl-cystine were also important. (to fight the chemicals and free radicals and support liver function). I think Vitamin C is really important for the adrenals and it must be taken at optimum doses--several thousand milligrams (i.e., several grams) daily. I think Essential Fatty Acids are also very important, such as fish oil, cod liver oil, and evening primrose oil. These help to modulate inflammation, and should be taken to offset the imbalance in fats we have in our diet. I have no idea

what Epicor is, so I can't comment on that. But if you concentrate on some of the above, I think it will be helpful. Patty Sandy <dusty.com@...> wrote: I have a question for those ladies who have regained most of their health back I understand it takes detoxing and

Hi Sandy,

I haven't regained my health entirely, but have definitely improved

enough to where I see the light at the end of the tunnel.

As far as Epicor is concerned, I'm just not sure. I took it for only

a month. Dr. Kolb recommends it to prevent yeast from turning into a

more virulent form and then into cancer. She said to take it the rest

of my life and I should listen. Yet, when I was muscle tested with

the product in my hands, the chiropractor said I shouldn't use it. It

is fermented yeast so that's why I hesitate, but honestly, everything

else Dr. Kolb has recommended has seemed to work great.

As for the supplements that have helped me most (in order of

importance for me):

* Primal Defense Probiotics

* Enzymedica Digestive Enzymes

* Caprylic Acid to kill the yeast. This has by far helped me the

most. 3600 mg per day for two weeks.

* Premier Science Tyler Recancostat Glutithione Powder mixed with

Naturally Buffered Vitamin C and water and taken w/ 1000 mg of Alpha

Lipoic Acid

* Garden of Life Goatein Powder mixed with coconut milk and Garden

of Life Super Seed - contains several vitamins and amino acids. Very

easy to digest and makes a great breakfast.

* Gillham's Liquid Organic Life Vitamins - a wonderful

multivitamin w/ Noni Juice in it.

* Gillham's Cell Rejuvenator - contains MSM.

* Standard Process Prolamine Iodine - organic iodine which is a

great antifungal/antiviral and helps with thyroid issues

* Butyren - helps repair intestinal lining/Leaky Gut issues

* Corvalen - for cell energy and muscle pain relief

I am going to add NAC based on what I've read and what Patty has said

as well. Just remember that your body may have different needs and so

you have to experiment. And, don't get into the trap of thinking that

a supplement will cure everything. I went through a period of time

thinking I could stray from a good diet if I just popped a pill.

Honestly, I think the greatest effects come from diet and I want to

eventually wean off some of these supplements.

Also, I don't know if you have an ionic foot bath but that has seemed

to help me immensely. - PH

N-acetyl-cystine....it is a precursor to glutathione, which is a very potent and much needed anti-oxidant. You definitely don't want to deplete your glutathione reserves! Thanks! Is this something I should look in to for healing?

Do you know if it's safe for use during pregnancy???

THANKS Patty!

Sandy ~

Girl it sounds like you are making

progress now. I am sure the weight

gain had lots to do with your pain.

I know for me, it is very debilitating.

I never weighed more than about 120

but usually around 110, and this 177

crap is killing me. It is heavy and hard

on my bones and joints. Boy I tell ya

if when I weighed 110, and I had to wear a

big heavy 65 lb vest around all the time

it would have been just like it is now.......

think about it....yuk ! bad for the bod !

Hugs, and I am so happy to hear of

your progress. Wonderful!

Sandy, Hopefully you are getting some whole grains and coconut oil. You can spread coconut oil on whole grain bread just like you would butter. . . Rubin recommends several tablespoons of oil a day. . . The fiber from whole grains will help with regularity . .. oil is necessary for numerous body functions. It won't make you gain weight! . . . now 177....and it is all in the trunk area, boobs,

gut and butt, actually I am round so one big body.

I never been fat a day in my life. Til this heart blew

I weighed 133 the day I went in to deliver my son ! !

So, yes, this is like wearing a 65 lb vest ! ! and very

P.S. Sandy, I should have mentioned that this was in Sept and October of

2005 that my root canals were placed. I had the root canals removed

in May 2006. It's been two years since removal and so I know that it

was connected because I have not had anything like it since.
