Instead, they hop right over that thought and become extremists. And then they call this " being restored to sanity. " Sanity would be to take the meds you need when you need them and stop when you don't. I remember when I was going to go to the dentist for a cleaning and some very minor work and my sponsor told me that I must tell him I'm an alcoholic.
