Thanks Gail. This is only the second sty I've ever had. The first

one was about 15 yrs. ago. I don't think I'm deficient in Vit.A

since I eat a lot of fruits and veggies high in beta carotene and

Vit. A. I think it's just a case of some germ getting in there from

rubbing my eyes.

The colloidal silver sounds interesting... Are you sure it's safe to

use in the eyes?

Vivian,

As a long-time user of CS, I can say that not only is properly made CS safe

to use in the eyes, it actually makes them feel better!

Vivian,

If you're talking about drinking CS, depending on what you are taking it

for it should be not less than 1 teaspoonful per day--preferably more if

you don't have too many die-off (or Herx) reactions.

When I'm using CS for my eyes, I put in a couple of drops several times a

day. One drop once a day is probably not enough.

What are you using the CS for?

I'm not familiar with most CS brands, including the one from INP, since I

make my own.

You might want to join the CS list. (I'm changing email programs at the

moment, so don't have the address. Ask me in a few days if you don't have

it by then.)

Regards,

Nina

Use wet warm compresses on your eye. Do this for about 15 minutes every hour til you go to bed, and in the am........and at work if at all possible.....I am so sorry you are having this problem. Bless your heart! You are in my prayers ! Love DedeGet a sneak peek of the all-new AOL.com.

Generally I get styes when I rub my allergy irritated eyes.

Antibiotic eye drops work, but I can't use them so I wait for them to go away.

I don't want anything to do with antibiotics. I guess I could wait it out too, I wish it didn't hurt so much.

Thanks, Lynn
