Guest guest
Jim, Stay the course. Your correct. Your heart is healing, give it time. I had AF episodes up toi 90 days after the PVA. Then they stopped. Poof! Gone! I remember the episodes after the PVA were different than the pre PVA. They were shorter and not as intense. Sometimes it was hard to know if I was in AF. Then then they were gone. Poof! Rich O

Thanks for the input. Jim, with a not-so-sunny disposition in sunny Florida. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx I'm surprised that you could start running so soon. Did they poke a hole through your septum to get to the left atrium? I would think you should let the heart heal a little more before stressing it. Obviously though your Dr. must have approved. Guest guest
Thanks Rich: You're right. The episodes are different and several times I had to check my pulse to see if I was actually in a-fib. Jim, staying the course.
Guest guest
Hi Jim, I had the same problems. About four days after the ablation I went into A-fib off and on--and it felt different...like what the other people were saying. Then I went into a-flutter. I could not get my pulse under 100 bpm. I had that for about three weeks, then all of a sudden while sitting in bed I felt really relaxed (first time in a long time). I checked my pulse and I was in nsr. I have had two bouts of A-fib...then A-flutter for about 12 hrs..two weeks apart. Both were brought after a hard work out. I am now nearing two weeks since my last bout...I am crossing my fingers. Things will get better. The only advice I can give you is to take it easy. I don't think I did that and caused some problems. Anyway...good luck!! Mark - Rainy Lacey, WA (Sun next week, though!!)
