Guest guest
Just want to pass on my experiences of having chronic bladder problems. For several years I had severe suprapubic pain and stinging when passing urine.Every test came back negative for infection and I went through all sorts of possible diagnoses. The recent one being urethral syndrome for which I was to have stretching.Recently,Itook a course of the antibiotic cephalexin for sinus trouble and the suprapubic pain disappeared.A further course got rid of the urethral stinging and pain.Im not entirely without problems but am loads better in that particular area.It would seem you only have a urinary tract infection if your levels of bacteria exceed their pre decided levels. Before you decide you have something like IC,think about an experiment with an antibiotic ,as you may have low levels of bacteria causing your problems.
