Guest guest
But I just started last week!!! Argh. I lost 3 lbs, though, so that's pretty motivating. I'm doing the Core program...that seems to work best with having a family, and one with CD. It's hard getting used to the difference, though, between that and flex. Why, oh why, are hot fudge sundaes not core??????????? ;-) From: SillyYaks [mailto:SillyYaks ] On Behalf Of MaslanSent: Thursday, June 02, 2005 9:17 AMTo: SillyYaks Subject: Re: Weight Watcher hangin' on the wagon I'm right there with you Bridget! Guest guest
I made a single serving of the No Pudge Brownie yesterday...what is the texture suppose to be? This thing was awful, kind of like a glob of rubber. I used a Pamela's mix the first time and Bob's Red Mill All-Purpose flour the 2nd time. I could not spit them out fast enough. The one made with Bob's made me gag. Did I do something wrong? I sure hope so. Thanks, Michele "Calacci, Bridget" wrote: But I just started last week!!! Argh. Guest guest
I made one, too, but mine turned out great. I used Bob's Red Mill GF flour, Nestle cocoa, and Danon plain non-fat yogurt. It was spongy and yummy. Maybe it was in the micro too long for you? Guest guest
Spongy and yummy sound good. The first time I nuked for a minute the second time I did leave it in a little longer--both were rubbery. Maybe the flours were old. I'll have to give it another try-but not just yet, I have to get the nasty image out of my head first. Thanks for the input. Guest guest
Just to let you know, I believe the original poster made a small mistake in the individual serving size directions. When I figured out how much of the liquid (yogurt) was called for in the entire recipe, it works out to 4 tablespoons powder mix to 1 (ONE) tablespoon yogurt. I made this with 1 tablespoon skim milk and it was terrific! (Using 2 T yogurt and it was glooby/gooey imo.)
