Guest guest
Hi Dede, You are kidding! I asked my doctor that and he made it seem like i was nuts and complelty overreacting. I just took his word for it and waited until it healed. I thought i had done such great job researching before getting my implants but apparently i had no clue whati was getting into. Doctors are quickly loosing my confidence with their " theories " . Thanks for the info. > > ~ > An abcess is an infection ! ! > _Abcess - Human pathology_ (http://www.humpath.com/Abcess) > Bless your heart, I am glad you are getting > your implants out in the near future ! > Hugs ~ Dede > > > > ************************************** Get a sneak peek of the all- new AOL at > http://discover.aol.com/memed/aolcom30tour >
Guest guest
Darling Dede: That is what I have in my right breast, Dr. Blais called it a chronic abscess. Today, my doctor found a lump behind my left nipple, and that is why I am having pain. I am off to bed, because she has caused me more pain. She is a loving doctor, and she said that she had never seen anyone in my condition. Now, we hope that other doctors will listen and help to get this garbage out of my breasts. Sending love and hope to all...Lea and Superman ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~````````` Re: Re: MS Like Symptoms etc... ~ An abcess is an infection ! ! Guest guest
, An abcess IS an infection . . . abcesses can vary in degree . . . and can become dangerous. I'm happy to hear you got through everything OK . . . Or, did you? Maybe that was the seed that later turned into later problems. Guest guest
, My goodness! Is the hole on the right side the drain hole? What happened to the original wound that opened up at your scar? I hope that is clearing up ok. It is so strange to have surgery under local anesthetic. I had an umbilical hernia repaired under local and I remember the Dr's talking and feeling some pressure. I hope you are doing well now. Did your original PS remove the implants for you?? Katy:) --- <jessicalmorgan@...> wrote: > Hey! Guest guest
Rogene, I really have no idea. Once i went to the doctor and he said it was fine i believed him so i didnt give it anymore thought. It did close and there is not even a mark there now so i have no idea if that contributed to anything?? Good question. Thats the thing, symptoms can be related to so many diffrent things its hard to know for sure. At least if i have these things properly removed they will be one thing I can rule out. > > , > > An abcess IS an infection . . . abcesses can vary in degree . . . and can become dangerous. > > I'm happy to hear you got through everything OK . . . Guest guest
Hi Traci, You said it will close up within 24 hours, but no shower...what about guaze? I was told to keep the area clean & VERY dry and to put a rolled up guaze near the hole. The rolled up guaze is to keep the skin from touching each other and collecting sweat in between my breast and other skin (upper stomach area i guess. I'm also on two different antibiotics, one is an antifungal antibiotic the other just a reg antibiotic. Guest guest
Patty, I guess because I was a last minute surgery or something? But I wasn't in any pain I guess except for getting the shots, everything just felt really weird...I don't think I've ever been awake for any kind of surgery. I didn't look at capsules/implants I was afraid I'd pass out, I kept my head turned the whole time lol. Well when I had the drain in, they told me to keep a pad over it. I guess the fluid and me sweating at night while sleeping caused the diaper rash. That's what I said, thank god they are out now and hopefully I'll be getting better soon! I guess it looks ok, I was a bit saggy before, and I guess it's not much saggier now. It doesn't look as bad as I thought it was going to look after but I sure was depressed about it the day I had the surgery, I was very emotional and couldn't quit crying lol. But I'm doing better now, just gotta keep telling myself I am healthier without them! The dr. mention before doing a lift, make them look perky but I don't want ANYMORE cosmetic surgeries EVER. I've learned my lesson! Talk to ya laters! > > > Hello I am new here and have been having problems with my > > saline > > > implants. Guest guest
Katy, Yeah the right side was the side that had opened and same side drain was on. I think he just used that hole and cut a little more open to remove implants etc...then sewed the drain in place there. Yes the original PS removed them. I'm doing ok I guess, I'm glad to have them out, just wish this hole would close up already and I can move on to getting healthier! Guest guest
Lea, Thank you for the welcome! Yes my implants were under the muscle. So right after surgery I expected my muscles to hurt, but it took a couple days and the muscle was a little sore (mostly on my right side). But the pain isn't to bad I guess. I'm just so glad to have them out. > > > Hello I am new here and have been having problems with my > > saline > > > implants. Guest guest
, Well I am glad that you were able to get this taken care of so quickly. I hope that your recovery will be speedy! Do you still have the drain in? I'm sure it will close quite quickly after the drain tube is out. Was your surgeon concerned at all about it? Guest guest
, Maybe your rash was from the tape?? Lots of people are allergic to the adhesive or the pad would do it too. I hope it is clearing up for you. All of the women here say that it takes some time before the " fluffing " of the tissue is done. Implants squish it down and it takes time to fluff back up. I bet you will notice good changes as you heal! Katy=) --- <jessicalmorgan@...> wrote: > Patty, > > I guess because I was a last minute surgery or > something? Guest guest
~ Please dont over do things. You just had a major surgery that is typically done under a general anesthetic. I know how hard it is when things pile up. Your health is more important than anything right now. Where did the doctor do your surgery? How much drainage are you having? I am so happy to hear that the hole is closing, that is great. You have had me worried. Since I worked in the field so long I have seen so much, so I can tend to worry when things sound different than what I expect. It does sound like you are doing well. Just remember, resting is when your body is doing its healing. Hugs ~ DedeGet a sneak peek of the all-new AOL.com.
Guest guest
Oh yeah, I hope it was just that, tape/pad. I'm guessing the pad, because I was using tape etc while in WVa/Va and was fine but the first time I used the pad, I woke up (from having it on overnight) and I had that rash!! Now that I'm just using a rolled up gauze it is looking better/clearing up and I've noticed (actually got the nerve up to look at the hole) the hole is getting a little smaller! Just can't wait to be stitch/hole free and can start doing a little more around the house etc. I can't stand a messy house, kinda a neat freak and right now it's driving me crazy lol! I did a huge load of dishes tonight and am sore now and wore out!! My bf kept telling me to stop doing it but I feel so helpless and wanting to do more. I'll be taking it easy tomorrow! Guest guest
Katy, Yeah me to, and I was even more surprised when my dr. didn't even charge me to take care of any of this. His nurse at first was trying to tell my I'd have to pay for the surgery etc and I told her well I haven't been able to work for months because of these problems and don't have any money atm (my sister yelled in the background " maybe you should just call your attorney) lol and the nurse said I'll talk to him about it and call you back. She called me right back and said the dr said not to worry about cost at all, that it's more important to get them out and get healthy again. No, the drain is out (kinda glad it was quite annoying and gross but very much needed from what I've been reading). He wasn't to concerned(about the hole?) he assured me it would all heal up and close on it's own and soon! > > > > > > > > > > > > Dear , > > > > > > I can understand your fear entirely. Guest guest
, I think your sister yelling about the attorney in the background was a great move! I'm sure it inspired a change of heart! The financial part or getting your implants out is certainly challenging. It is the reason my implants are still in! Anyways, I hope that you continue healing up well ! Guest guest
, thank you for sharing your story with the group. We all want you to get well, and get rid of that infection. You are so very brave to have the surgery with just a local. Do you have any respiratory problems? There was a lady who mentioned that she had post nasal-drip, and a bad cough. Many women have these symptoms. I developed Asthma from my silicone breast implants, and I have never smoked. We hope that all of your symptoms will go away, but you must get plenty of rest and support. Stay close...love always........Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`````````` Re: MS Like Symptoms etc... Lea,Thank you for the welcome! Yes my implants were under the muscle. Soright after surgery I expected my muscles to hurt, but it took acouple days and the muscle was a little sore (mostly on my rightside). But the pain isn't to bad I guess. I'm just so glad to havethem out. > > > Hello I am new here and have been having problems with my > > saline > > > implants.
