Guest guest
Called late this afternoon to check on him, he was shaving and getting ready to shower (amazing how the smallest personal details are so monumental now), then having a supper of broth and jello and tea..... His brother Terry told me that the nurses expect he is going to fast track barring any complications....they expect he will be discharged to the transitional stage St. phs on Tuesday, he will be required to attend two Thursday out patients days and then he will be able to come home if all is well, that puts him home in 2 1/2 weeks if all goes as planned.... This is all happening so fast.....they attribute his recovery to what great shape he was in - not his liver but his heart and lungs and his body in general (I told you guys he had a nice butt)..... Let's keep praying that this continues.... Guest guest
Patti - Just read your posts from today. YEA! I did cry like a baby when I read about your coworkers and the envelope of $$! Isn't it wonderful when support comes from places we don't expect? Makes you feel like the world really is an okay place...Just wrote a note for Mike. Anyone in the states know how much it costs to send a letter to Canada? Do I have to put extra postage? Hang in there! Deb in VA >
