Lynn, you sound very positive to me. Our darling Gretchen will find out that you have to work at getting well. She is at the beginning of dealing with her severe health problems. I know that I must push myself everyday to get everything done. We bought a home with stairs, because I want to get strong again. I work in our yard until I am so tired that has to help me to get back upstairs. It feels good to see the yard looking better....it was so neglected.

Thank you sweetheart for this positive note....love you......Lea

Gretchen... TRY IT!!

Gretchen,I have had horrible horrible brain fog. Didn't even remembered driving to work! Scary huh!! Can't remember peoples names who I have worked with for 5 years. I have put my milk in my cupboard instead of my refridge. Just yesterday for the life of me I could not remember if my husband played golf on Mondays or Tuesdays - - he has been on a golf league for 4 years on Tuesday nights, never has changed! But guess what, I don't need a perfectly clear brain to clean a dang bathroom. I don't need one to do laundry. I have to!! I don't have my mom & dad to help me, you are lucky. Is doing laundry or cleaning fun, heck no. Does it wear me out just to walk up and down the stairs, heck yeah!! But it takes my mind off of being sick, if not just for 15 minutes. It gives me something to concentrate on. Don't worry, if you get lost in your bathroom, I am sure your parents will find you. I feel like crap every darn day! I have to go to work so that I have insurance and so I can pay for my house. My thyroid feels like it is going to explode out of my neck, it hurts so darn bad I can't describe the pain. You had your implants in for 5 weeks. I have 8 years of damage. Maybe you should focus on the fact that they are gone, the capsules are gone....there are much sicker women on this board who can't afford or aren't healthy enough to get theirs out. Be thankful that yours are gone. If I wanted to, I could throw the biggest pitty party for myself. I could let the brain fog and memory loss get to me and refuse to go to work or do anything for that matter. You obviously remember some things because you can get on a computer, come to this site and actually type posts. There is hope. I do feel bad that you are sick but we are all sick. It isn't fun for any of us. Let go of the anger and regret and try to move on. Maybe you'll have brain fog and memory issues forever (I doubt it) but if yes, you are going to have to learn to live with these issues. Make lists so you don't forget. Sorry to be negative but I hate to see other members leave this board. Please at least try and stop responding to every e-mail asking you to try with a negative reply that you can't. Try it, you might see that you can.Lynn> > > > > >> > > > > > Gretchen,> > > > > >> > > > > > Sounds good!> > > > > >> > > > > > I've heard of women getting B12 shots when nothing else seems> > to be> > > > > > working . . . Gretchen - make a list of all the things you CAN do. I'm not by any

means minimizing your illness, however there are some people in the

world who probably can't do some of the things that you CAN. You

can walk, there are people who are in wheelchairs and can't walk.

You can breathe without an oxygen tank. You can chew your own food -

there are people who need feeding tubes. The key to getting better

after explant is to stop saying " I can't " . You have to stop

thinking that you are the only person in the entire world that is

sick because of implants, and that everyone but you got better right

away after explant. That is totally not true.
