Guest guest
Hi Suzy, for months now (years, actually) I have had pain and soreness in exactly the areas specified on the webpages describing vestibulitis. I'm not sexually active, I'm 59 years old (well past menopause, so not using tampons). To put it bluntly, nothing ever goes in there! I've tried silicone " barrier " cream, used to prevent urine scald in bedridden patients, to no avail. Now I'm using the clobetasol and the premarin cream prescribed by my dermatologist a year ago for lichen sclerosis, but see no improvement yet. I'm pretty sure this isn't a recurrence of the L.S. because I am not getting the white patches, and also it " feels " different. (But still very sore). Oh, and I highly doubt a yeast infection 'cuz I'm an Atkins dieter, so no sugars for them to feed on. I'm going to ask her for some topical Lidocaine.
