Hi,

Curious what types of seizure meds some of the kids are on.....my son is

just starting topamax - so far so good. Was on depakote for awhile (before

his suspected mito issue) and he worsened with it. He does not have very

obvious seizures either but does have an abnormal EEG - loads of spiking.

The feeling is he is either having behavioral stuff from the electrical

discharges or there is actual seizure activity going on but it is deeper

than the EEG is reading. Right now they are leaning to bad effects from all

the abnormal activity.

Anyway, what meds are your kiddo's on and what are some of the experiences?
