OK, I have a question. My husband recently got full dentures. As soon as the

old ones were pulled, the surgeon put the new ones in - before he even left the

office. Did you have to wait because you are a diabetic and they wanted more

healing?

I am just curious

Hi All,

For those who know me, I had my teeth(or what was left of them..lol) all

pulled out in January.

The 6 weeks I had to wait for my gums to be healed is long past~

I am finally gonna get my final dentures NEXT Friday!!

I m so excited. I can finally eat more on plan! and get back to the OLD me!

Oh wow! I never thought about the fact it could take that long from the

time they are all pulled out to dentures! Dang! That would be no fun at all!

I love steak! LOL.

I am very happy for you you are finally gonna get dentures! I suspect I'm

headed the same direction in the next few years. I may still have time to

prevent the inevitable for a period of time.

Anyway, congrats on the dentures arriving next friday!

I heard the same thing so when I went to the dentist last month I asked him. It

doesn't affect the teeth but it can affect the blood supply to the gums and it

can affect the bone tissue. Another good reason to keep tight control of our

BGs.

your teeth....is that true?
