I was on nothing before- I don't even have hypothyroidism. Just a lot of

unexplained symptoms and I have had every test known to man. I am willing to try

anything. We know my pituitary is failing to monitor my androgens and o have a

mixture of hyper and hypothyroid symptoms

You will still have some of your OWN T4 inyour system thta the T3 must

firts lower, then it has rto weaken the RT3 that is bound to your cell's

receptors. this all takes TIME I woudl lower to no more than 100mcg and

just hold there for a whiel. 6-8 weeks oyu should start to fel a differnce.

Val's reply that she has already posted sounds sane and sensible.

10 tablets is MUCH too much for a starting dose, T3 needs to be

treated with respect and adjusted slowly and allowed to stabilise

which takes a few days at least

Wait....did I just read that someone STARTED on 200mcg of T3 and didn't ramp up or am I missing something.  Personally, I think that is insane.  I know of someone who was put on 100 to start and she had a heart attack.  I'm not trying to scare you...or maybe I am....but 200 to start, really????????????????

Also, is this with proper adrenal testing or support???I must be missing something in this thread because something isn't right here.
