Guest guest
> How much is to much of magnesium or potassium? > What are safe levels? > Where can you find the proper answers? > Rich O I can't say what is safe for everyone but I currently take 250 mg. of magnesium a day which is 63% of the RDA. I also take 3 to 4 potassium tablets a day which are 99 mg. each and are 3% of the RDA each. This small amount has stopped all AF occurrences. I can honestly say that the AF episodes are completely gone since starting to take these two supplements approx. four months ago. I actually stopped an 18 hour AF episode with a magnesium sulfate (epsom salt) bath after only 20 minutes. It is well known that any chemical on the skin will be in the blood in less than a minute. That's why nicotine and pain patches work so well. None of my doctors have talked about the mineral imbalance connection, but the first time in the ER they tried a magnesium drip and the third time in the ER they prescribed 1500 mg./day of potassium for ten days. Even though they aren't talking about it, I was able to read between the lines and just started experimenting on my own with good results. Hope this helps, Otis Price odprice@... Guest guest
The best magnesium is Magnesium Glycinate. This is the easiest for your body to assimilate and use. I use it from a company called Metagenics. I take two 200mg tablets.
Guest guest
Like I said elsewhere in that post - Mag Glycinate - is the easiest for your body to assimilate and use. Most efficent may be another way to view it. It certainly isn't the cheapest. -- In AFIBsupport , indiaink99@a... wrote: > In a message dated 1/13/04 9:46:07 PM Pacific Standard Time, > magiclanternn@y... writes: > > << The best magnesium is Magnesium Glycinate. >> > > > Hmmmm. ..
