Dear folks,

How many people have had sleep studies - I would love to have one, but was

afraid to ask my doctor...

Have a great day and may God shower you with blessings,

Before the surgery I had this problem for years. I would wake up most

nights at almost exactly 4:00. I had a sleep study and was diagnosed with

Apnea. I had my dentist fit me for a special mouthpiece called " silent

night. " it moved my bottom jaw forward to keep the airway open. as soon as

I started wearing it I started sleeping through the night. I would actually

wake up feeling like I had slept instead of exhausted. there are a number

of devices that work this way, another is called " thorasnore. " Also there

is a device called a C-PAP that actually fits around the outside of your

mouth and provides slightly pressurized air to keep you breathing. I would

suggest you look into one of these solutions, it worked for me.

While I was still in the hospital following surgery the sleep apnea

disappeared, I have not had a problem since.
