Guest guest
My last lab showed a tsh level of .004 My dr. thinks I'm on too much medication & says the low TSH level could cause my pituatary gland to shut down. The free T3 & T4 are within normal range. I don't want to decrease my medication because I'm still not feeling that great. The dr. also says my adrenals are part of the problem. Anyone else had this happen?

ANy decent doctor should know thta oyu need ot treat by thyroid levels not a pituitary hormone. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
the only other levels I have are Free T3 3.4 (range 2.3 - 4.2) Free T4 1.2 (range .61 - 1.76) I'm concerned she's going to cut back on my medication and I don't know what to say to keep her from reducing what I'm on. I only have 1/3 of a thyroid due to a partial thyroidectomy earlier this year. My anti-TPO levels are at 84. Could the adrenals cause the TSH to be really low, without being on too much medication? Originally my doctor told me she wasn't too concerned about the TSH until now that's it's at .004. --- wrote: > >>My last lab showed a tsh level of .004<< > > OK that is a pretty low TSH but where are your > THYROID levels? It is NOT that the thyroid is shutting down the pituitary but the pituitary is NOT functioning correctly as it should be asking for more thyroid and it is not. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
