But it is not cool to me, as I am Jewish and feel offended when someone

forces their christian beliefs on me. Mind you I am not prejudice as my

husbands family is Presbyterian.

I was considering checking them out too, but will reconsider if this is

something I want to do or not. I will have to check it out with caution.

A business that does not base their sales on religious related material

or services should not quote religious stuff in their manuals as that

can be offensive to those who are not of the same faith. What does

religion have to do with exercise? Absurd!

That's my 2 cents.

I go to curves for the exercise. My branch NEVER does any preaching

so I think you could still go. However, if you are Jewish, you lose out on

two days, Saturday and Sunday, if you are devoted.

I think anyone would feel offended if another's faith is forced upon them.

Excessive Quoting Manually Removed by Moderator

> I go to curves for the exercise. -----------------------

I saw this a few days ago---contemplating joining.

Recently had my fill of all things political/religious---so it

doesn't matter much to me what the owners choose to believe.

LOL---one reason I am seeking an exercise program is for relief from

the nightly news. That is all I would want from them---a place to

exercise. I can't think that a successful business would allow any

sort of Lobbying for any issue.

I can recommend several sites where intense discussions go on

continuously on the Issues---which is why I am here --not there. I

heard every opinion imaginable--an exercise in futility. Believe as

you will and try to stay healthy and happy---I concluded.

OK, I want to throw my two cents in...

> feel offended when someone forces their christian beliefs on me.

I posted a link on this board or another diabetes board about " Curves "

founder donating anti-A causes, just like Domino founder and one other.

I'm a guy and though I would rather put someone up for adoption, it's

her deal.

As far as " owner " having a right to put his money where is heart is

should not deter anyone from eating Domino Pizza or going to Curves,

Unless - there is a flag or banner that says " if you feel this way,

please do not patronize us. "

Another words, In my opinion, neither of these companies make it an issue!

Why make it an issue?

Would it be possible to not discuss this subject anymore please? Everyone has

their own beliefs so let's let it be.

Thanks
