Tina,

I his my first plateau at 4 months. It lasted for 3 weeks, then last week I

lost 4 more. I'm trying not to weigh myself every day, so if the weight's

holding still again, I'm not aware of it. We'll see!

Alice,

Hello, thanks for responding. I have not weighed myself since

8/7/00. Did not buy a scale because I knew that I would weigh myself

constantly! Have appt on 9/14, so I will get weighed then, hopefully

I have gone down. Wishing the same for you. :0)

LOL I have more plateaus these days then losses but yes its normal but

everyone is different. The best thing is to review where you are during a

plateau. Ie have you just lost a lot of weight, are you watching your carbs,

is it time to exercise or take it to a new level of endurance? Are you

drinking alot of soda, enough water? getting lots of protein? Are you at

" goal " weight? things like that.

Hang in there & keep moving.

Tina,

I had my first plateau at 2 weeks and another at 4 weeks and another

at12 weeks. My body seems to want to hold on, Heaven help me!! But

it is catching up. They seem to last forever, but then I drop 5-10

lbs in a few days. It drives me nuts so I try to stay off the

scale. I have kept up my water and exercise and also have gotten a

protein drink so I don't have to worry about that.

Sandy,

Hello, Heaven help us both. Ugh is all I can say.

I did not buy a scale because I knew I would be on it constantly!

I get weighed on the 14 of Sept. at Dr's office. I hope it has

moved.I have been stuck at same weight for a month.......

Hi,

I have hit plateaus at 2 months -- 5 months-- and 8months...for me I think

my body just needs to catch up with itself..... If I increase my exercise it

seems to work for me.....

I have been at the same weight for most of the month.... My kids started

school Thursday... so did I ...with them at 2 different schools and me

working at a third... plus 2 of my employees quit at last minute...(valid

reasons) but I only have 5...

Aldo 1 is starting late because of serious illness with her grandchild.... My

cook never showed up on Friday.... So needless to say I have been running

around like a crazy person.....BUT I actually lost 2 pounds after 2 days of

school... I guess that was my jump-start.....

We all all different and just remember that snd don't get discouraged....

OK here is where I am neurotic... I weigh myself everyday... I always have..

I know everyone tells you it's wrong... but it keeps me on track.... If I

stay the same.. no biggie,,, but if I have gained..even a pound... it gives

me a reality check ... I guess it's like a false willpower..... there are 2

things you can never take from me !!!!

my scale and my coffee LOL
