Guest guest
Oh you are so welcome. It feels good to be of some use to somebody! Really it does!! I used to do all my reminders with my day-timer and those yellow post-it notes! LOL Amazing what technology can do. And the Internet saved my life in more ways than one. Guest guest
Ahhh...what you might like is the " touch-it-once " routine for handing mail. When the mail arrives, open and sort it next to two things...1) your paper work station and 2) your trash bin. My paper work station is a pretty basket I keep on the kitchen counter. It's taller than wider so that I can stand things up in it to thumb through them quickly. It has the contents of what I call my " in box " which means stuff I've got to follow-up on like waiting to hear back from the insurance company or repair service. It also has return address labels, stamps, stationary and envelopes, a couple pens and my checkbook. I use it for recipes, coupons and our grocery list too. When you open your mail, right then and there look at the junk and toss it. Open your bills and quickly write out a check (post dated), Put the check and bill in the return envelope with and write the date you want to mail it where the stamp goes. Put those in order by the date they are to be mailed and your are D-O-N-E! No more piles . Be well, --------------------------------- Finding fabulous fares is fun. Let Yahoo! Guest guest
We all slip up! You should have seen this house a month ago. I was in the hospital for a week and my hubby was very sick with the flu. It's a wonder we could find our underwear! LOL I'm so glad we're laughing! It's really the best medicine. Guest guest
Bet, you just crack me up...bless your heart! I thought of something else that made me laugh. When my hubby and I were first together and he'd do something that was foreign to my way of doing stuff, like not put the cap back on the toothpaste, I used to make a joke and say Mr. Cap wanted me to tell you that he has a big crush on Miss Toothpaste Tube. He would like to ask her out for a date, but he's too shy. He thought you might have some ideas??? Then Terry would pick up on the joking around and he'd add a little more to the story and we went back and forth like that laughing the whole time. Don't ya know, that Mr. Cap and Miss Toothpaste Tube finally got married! LOL Who woulda thunk it? Guest guest
My Mike is a slob.it was something we had in common and thought that was a good thing when we first met. (slob is an over statement but apropos) Suffice it to say, he drops his stuff by his chair, doesn't rinse his plates & cups, his clothes pile up beside his side of the bed, he does a project and leaves everything out when done. However, when he does decide to clean, he's a cyclone! I try to get him to organize, he tries to get me to organize.yet both of us are very organized at work! Go figure. :-) Jane PS. I just wanted you to know, Bet, that I think you are pretty cool.a great person! _____ Subject: Re: Re: Organization - Is his name Mike lol Bet
