Guest guest
I found more hungriness toward the end of phase 1 rather than the beginning. I started eating more but have noticed my workouts being affected due to not enough carbs, but today is my last day on phase 1. I am still going to cycle phase 2/1 probably, I think I can do a week on phase 1, but will not do two more weeks on phase 1 again for sure. -Amie From: e Sheehan Sent: Monday, December 20, 2004 9:28 AMTo: South-Beach-Diet-Getting-It-Right Subject: Re: hunger! Me too! I think I am ALWAYS hungry on this diet. OF course, could be because I'm eating very little vegetables. Only because I'm addicted to this chicken I make and don't want to eat anything else to take up room in my belly, so I can eat more chicken. KrisRE: Peanut Butter cookiesFor whatever reason, I'm feeling more hungry on the diet than when I firststarted. So am I allowed to eat more, until satisfied?thanks,AmieReminder: The South Beach Diet is not low-carb. Nor is it low-fat. Guest guest
I think it's due to carb depletion in the body. As glycogen storage gets less and less, the body craves to restore it for energy and so we are more hungry. The bad part is, if it were fat loss exclusively, we would not be hungry because the body can store tons of that (as we know!). -Amie From: Kim Gepper Sent: Tuesday, December 21, 2004 6:00 AMTo: South-Beach-Diet-Getting-It-Right Subject: Re: Re: hunger!
