Guest guest
Geez, Teddi...situation sounds serious there! Haven't talked to my son...maybe that's why! We're cold today...like 28 degrees, which is probably nothing compared to you! Maybe some snow showers. Finally, winter may be here. Well, Phil did see his shadow! Still have the crud, eh? Maybe it's time for a hot toddy, whaddya think? I'm game! Stay warm and safe, please! Guest guest
Oh, Lynn, I'm so sorry to hear you have another DVT. Once the Lovenox and the Coumadin get into your system, it should clear right up. (((((hugs))))) And yes, I too feel like a walking drug store. LOL. Guest guest
I don't feel like a drugstore yet, especially not a WALKING one. So many problems we have. It's a shame. Some of our symtoms/ailments need to be spread out among the rest of the population, especially within the Taliban folks. Ed > > > Hi! > > > > Had the doppler on my leg. Guest guest
Ed... I for one share your sentiments! I'm going to try to stay up until at least 8:30 tonight to watch a bit of the opening ceremonies in Salt Lake City. I've heard through the grapevine that they've got a special surprise in store for us. We've all wondered who is going to light the cauldron...well, I heard through the grapevine that they are going to set Osama Bin Laden on fire and dip him into the Olympic cauldron! Do you think it will happen or will I be staying up late for nothing? Annette (P.S. Of course I'm kidding...I'm not that vicious, really!) Guest guest
Deep vein thrombosis...blood clot in the deep vein of the leg. Commonly occurs in only one leg, but for some reason, both of my legs are now DVTers. Docs don't know why...at least no one has said too much other than it's unusual. Overweight, smoking, high blood pressure can cause it...this is a pretty good link about it: http://www.bu.edu/cohis/cardvasc/vessel/vein/dvt.htm#whatis LOL!! I like your " medical wonder! Guest guest
Welcome back, Andy. Glad you had a good trip. I know what you mean about those hills being a killer. Where we camped at the end of July, it was very hilly, just to get to the bathroom and back. I was worn out by the end. Yep, get ready for school because it's coming up quick. Guest guest
Welcome to the slim side Chris....... Glad you did so well. Hang in there, every day gets a little better. Hugs and prayers, Romero Lap RNY 5-29-2002 381/308/160 Thanks to all - especially Tina, you wonderful Angel, you - for your good wishes. I cam home yesterday, and was it a treat to sleep in my own bed. Apart from some itching (okay.. a lot of itching, about which I'm going to make a phone call, and gas which is making it's way out either upwards or downwards), I'm doing okay. So glad that's behind me - you're a wonderful group of friends - I appreciate each of you. /ChrisD

Guest guest
Welcome back. It's amazing the influence Tony had. He was extraordinary. Lyn I'm Back Hi, hope y'all remember me. I use to be a member here, but left a few months ago, as I was overwhelmed. But I'm gald to be back. I couldn't belive what I was seeing when I was reading the group description. I can't believe that Tony passed. He was such an inspriation and a great friend. I know it's something that we all have to face, but it just doesn't seem fair. I only knew him through his posts, but when I read it, I felt like I had lost a close friend and was just full of tears. I will miss him and his posts. Guest guest
Looks Good.... I will try this, RonDarice LaPierre wrote: I like the non-stick pan myself. As far as veggies, cauliflower (tastes pretty good in a stir fry), broccoli and aspargus are good. I prefer the veggies to be just lightly cooked - still firm, not mushy. They tend to hold their flavor and are healthier. Sliced zucchini and snow peas are also good. If you use fresh shrimp, remember it will cook quickly so add it when everything else is pretty well done. __________________________________________________

Especially stir-frys Kris Re: I'm back I rarely put sugar in most of my Chinese food cooked at home, and it tastes just as good as what's served at restaraunts, IMO.
