Guest guest
Brat, and Barb, (now doesn't that sound like a vaudeville team?LOL) I am fine today. Even went back outside and directed the work. We are on the home stretch with the outside work, and will start on the inside on Monday. The boys have karate tomorrow a.m., and it's too hot to work in the p.m.'s. Our third worker boy is coming Sunday to help out again, and hopefully we can pay them all that day if they get it finished. Then we just have to place the patio furniture, plant the rest of the flowers and start cleaning the house inside. Should be done by Wednesday, so we can relax for a couple of days before our company arrives on Saturday. I'll need to rest a couple of days before the big gang arrives. LOL We have one family, a mom and four kids coming on 7/19 for seven days, and another mom and three boys coming on the following Tuesday. I'm taking the whole lot to the local college theater for The Music Man, then home for our annual mom's all nighter in the back yard. We put the boys all to bed in the big tent, then we sit around the fireplace and talk all night. We used to do this at the beach, but I'm not up to all that any more, so we stay home where I can go to bed when I poop out. It's still a lot of fun, and we moms get to catch up. I'll send a report on how it went later on. Wish me luck with all those boys in a one bathroom house. LOL Somebody will be wiping the floor in there every day and putting the seat down every night...what do you want to bet? LOL Love, MM
Guest guest
OK, the Bitch works for me. LOL But, I like my Brat better, I must say. Sounds to me like you need to see the doc, and post haste. I was potty princess again this morning for a while, but Immodium is my best friend on days like this. It has slowed down so I can get some things done. The boys and I finished the yardwork, and now are cleaning our individual rooms to get ready for our company. We do the kitchen tomorrow, and then the living room and bathroom on Thursday. We're taking Friday off to do whatever each of us wants to do for the day. Then the company starts arriving on Saturday after the boys' karate classes. We have one mama and three of her four kids for the whole week, then another mama and three of her kids for two of those days. Eight boys!!! All at once!!! I truly am insane. LOL Love you, and let me know how it goes about the doc. MM
Guest guest
Brat, my Brat, A Saint?!?!?!? You ARE sick. LOL No, not a saint. If I was, I'd have gone right on adopting kids in spite of my illnesses. I wanted twelve kids when I started out. I would still have done it if I hadn't gotten too tired to manage the ones I have. LOL Always wanted a BIG family. Now, my friend Oralee, who adopted more than ten, had six of her own, and fostered around 47 others, SHE is a saint. She wouldn't agree with me, but I got to tell you, that woman is something else. But, me. Nope, not a hope of sainthood here. Love you, MM
Guest guest
Barb, Don't worry. I'll be writing a novel, probably, when it's over. LOL Love, MM
