Guest guest
I tried Cymbalta but it didn't help my depression and my pain seemed to be worse. I'm on Lexapro now and I still hurt so bad I just want to sleep all day cause when I'm asleep I don't feel the pain LOL Re:Challenges with Cymbalta? >I sure have gained weight on Cymbalta. Guest guest
You know, I sure do think this prozac has caused my weight gain. I don't even know if I eat that much more than I use to, but I think it has changed my metabolism. I understand. I guess all these meds have some side effect. I also love to eat. I have gained a good 12 pounds in the last few months. (pounds I should not gain..... I weighed too much to begin with). Well, I may think of a diet sometime, but right now I think I will just contemplate it because I don't want the added stress and worry of my diet and watching every morsel I eat. I have enough to deal with already. Have a great day. Debra Van Ness wrote: I sure have gained weight on Cymbalta. And I'm always hungry...but I've always been an emotional over-eater. I also have night sweats, too. Leg pain, so far, not yet. I'm sure I can look forward to it, I get a lot of side effects. HOWEVER, my fibro pain is lower, and my depression is doing better on Cymbalta. I guess it's a draw. __________________________________________________________ Sucker-punch spam with award-winning protection. Try the free Yahoo! Guest guest
I agree with you. I want to sleep because I shouldn't be able to feel the pain. I said " shouldn't " because I don't seem to be able to sleep either. Guest guest
They usually prescribe it 3x a day.. But I may take it in the evening if I am not feeling well then before bed.. But mostly before I go to bed.. I also have OA... I notice the difference when I forget the flexeril There are other things too.. I think because it does Relax the muscles and with fibro we don't get that deep REM sleep where are muscles relax the flexeril takes The place or lets us get that REM sleep not sure. But for me if helps I am not as stiff in the am.. Hugs bet -- Re: Re:Challenges with Cymbalta? I'll mention that to the Nurse Practioner tomorrow.
