I read your post about the pain you are in, and I can't understand the doctor not delving into it deeper to try and discover what is the cause of all the pain. I went to my rheumy yesterday and he feels like it is the methadone that they have me on that is causing the pain so they are weaning me off of it. What are you going to do for pain control once the methadone dose starts going down??? PLEASE know I am thinking about you and than I care tons about how you are. Hugs - a B. I am so scared because they want me to stop taking ANYTHING for pain and try to make it on the six trigger point injections and a tordol shot every three weeks. It will take three weeks to get off of the methadone and I have an appointment right about then, but man, if this pain gets bad, it gets REAL bad, which I know all of you can understand. That's what has me so VERY worried. Oh well, it might work right? It is so hard to taper anything, but going without pain meds for 2-3 weeks? OMG.. I know this post was almost a week ago.. how are you now? I will keep reading... You are in my thoughts.......gentle hugs..... Deb I am not so good Deb. I have to go to a breast center in the morning for an emergency mamogram (which at least got me to the front of the line!) and then if need be an ultra sound. One of my boobies as decided that even after never giving birth and a hysterectomy, it's going to leak stuff that looks like milk! The other morning I noticed blood on the waist of my undies... couldn't figure out what the heck, but a mole on my thigh is bleeding and must have gotten on the undies when I went potty in the middle of the night...
