Guest guest
Tommy, I'm in North Jersey, using ms explorer. The link I checked ( nrm) worked fine. Thanks for all your effort! The page looks great. BTW, on the AA portion of the NRM website, it was implied that AA deprogramming was the work of an anonymous man. I thought a woman named Apple ( who is a member of this list) started that sight. Does anyone know if I am right?

Guest guest
It's excellent Tommy. The written portion is articulate and persuasive, and visually it is very nice to look at. Guest guest
tommy, have you thought of running it through an OCR (optical character recognition) program like Omni Page or something. Guest guest
And if you thought it took you awhile to put up the site just wait till you start proofing 30 pages of OCR scans. Life is hell sometimes but it beats AA. The site looks good. You may want to put the continue link somewhere easier to find. On first look even after reading the first page I thought that's all there was. Have you considered putting the separate Armed Forces Seals at the top of the Sites Home Page? Now if I could only articulate my revulsion to XA as well as you Apple and just about everyone else here I'd put up a page myself. BTW I logged in at site visit 29 came back a few seconds later and it was at 32. So you're already getting some good hits off just this list. Guest guest
Judith,, , Apple et al. Thanks for your inputs. I'm sitting in a public library at lunch time. When I click " continue " on the home page of my site I get a page of program data. Think the feds have already sabatoged me? Did you all see all the pages: " Contents " " Myth of Spiritual, Not Religious " et al. Anyone know what is going on? Guest guest
Yes, the same thing happened to me: clicked " continue " and got a page of source code. Guest guest
Judith, Joe, Thanks. I just rushed home from the library and everything works fine here at home. This is strange. I'm heading out to the local community college to check it out there. Anyone have any idea what's going on, let me know. I'm a computer dummy. Guest guest
I'm now sitting in the library of the local cc and I don't get the links either. I completed the site last night and everything works fine at home. There is a " Continue " button at the bottom of the home page which takes you to " Contents " which lists: A Message to the Media The Myth of Spititual, Not Religious (4 links) 1. Decleration of Independence 2. Act For Establishing Religious Liberty 3. New Religious Movements 4. AA Deprogramming Court Opinions (6 links, including one internal page by Leo Pheffer) Selected Quotes A Final Salute (1 link, Madison) Please give me feedback on who (Where you are) is getting the links and who is not. Sounds like the U.K. and New Orleans are getting them. Thanks, Tommy > > Judith,, , Apple et al. > > > > Thanks for your inputs. I'm sitting in a public library at lunch > > time. But when I tried the " Continue " button using a different browser (StarOffice, from Sun Microsystems) I got a page of html code. I don't know much about web page making, but some web design software creates code that some parts of only function on Microsoft browsers. You might be experiencing some browser-specific problem possibly. Maybe it would help if people commenting on whether this site works or not could state what browser they are using. Joe B. Guest guest
Tommy: This is where I would start. I think 's found the culprit. I took a look and sure nuff the file extensions are missing. Which appears to be no problem for Internet Explorer 5.xx but may very well be a problem for older versions and Netscape. I'm using IE 5.00. Re: Re: My web site , I copied the page of code I got to my own web page, and when I viewed it, I saw it as a web page. I'm not Mr. Computer, but I'm going to copy the code from your page #1 and sewe what I can see. I'm thinking it is in the way you named your links- I notice one link is called " court " insted of " court.html " .
Guest guest
, Bob, Thanks. I'll check it out in a few days if necessary. Maybe it just takes Angelfire a while to get it on line right. The thing that bothered me when I first noticed it was that I thought I might have lost it in cyberspace after putting in all that time. Tommy > Tommy: > > This is where I would start. Guest guest
Kayleigh, Thanks, I'll be making the necessary changes this week end. Also thanks again for the proofreading on " Message to the Media " . I made most of the changes you recomended. That page came out nice too. That is one of my favorit Rockwell paintings. I may change the color patterns on some of the other pages, but it turned out just right on that page.
