I have a suggestion. If you wish, rather than go thru all this hassle and

stress yourself out more trying to find a doctor to prescribe it, just order it

yourself and take a low, safe dose that you know won't suppress your adrenals.

After all, it's not like the doc monitors anything after he/she puts us on it.

My doc has had me on it for two years and doesn't monitor anything. I have my

holistic gyno do saliva tests just to get an idea what's going on. My

alternative MD who prescribed it just told me to wean off when I think I'm ready

and we'll take it from there.

Given that I know what the M.D.s do when you're on it, I don't see what I really

would have needed him for except that my insurance pays for it.

It's sure cheap enough to get it from any of our sources here. If you choose to

do so, you can email Val privately and she will give you a link where you can

buy it VERY VERY CHEAPLY!!

So that's my suggestion. If they won't give you what you know you need; just

get it yourself.

Thyroid/adrenal fatigue

I sent in an email yesterday after registering on this website. I

use to do the forum on STTM alot but not the last 2 months. I want

Val's or anyone elses advice on what I should do at this point.

I did STTM for quite some time as marion. I got rid of my reg doc

and 2 endos. I found an MD who finally diagnosed my adrenal

problems with 24 hr saliva test. He is an herbalist along with

being MD. He put me on supplements and they really made some

progress. But each time stress came along I went backwards and

reallyl bad this last time. He does not do hydrocortisone, believes

it will suppress adrenals no matter what the dose even with all the

written material and testimonies I gave him. So he is as stubborn

as the others, except they said my adrenals and thyroid was fine

when I knew they were not.

I go to see a Nurse Practitioner next week to see if she will take

me on. My daughter goes to her and she really listens to people and

their symptoms. I want to go on HC but I will take suggestions, I

really want them at this point. I put my latest labs on my email,

but have had no answer to anything yet, but I do get alot of emails

from off the forum but none were mine.

I did reply to your post, I asked for the lab ranges with the results.

Different labs have different ranges and the results are meaningless

wihtout that lab's ranges.
