Guest guest
Hi , Kim from Ohio here. Welcome and good luck with your weight loss. Kim G. Introduction/ SBD again... I would like to introduce myself.I am from New England. 47, m, 5'8", 231.5.I was on the SBD last fall until my Father died and the foods came rolling in. I had lost nearly 20 lbs. in 4 weeks until then. Now my weight has gone back up to 231.5, within a lb. of where it was when I originally started. My wife and I are both going Ph1 after New Years. Our main motivation for this is the underwater pic a friend took of me snorkeling last winter. I appear to look like an underwater mammal :-(, and I don't mean dolphins.Like some people here I suffered from fatigue and being cold much of the time, especially if I was strictly adhering to the diet. Here in Northern New England being cold isn't hard to come by, so hopefully there is a remedy for that...On a bright note my cholesterol dropped 40 points after PH1.My 1st goal: 200 lbs. by March 2nd, 2005My ultimate goal: 180 or lessHave a great day,Reminder: The South Beach Diet is not low-carb. Nor is it low-fat. The South Beach Diet teaches you to rely on the right carbs and the right fats-the good ones-and enables you to live quite happily without the bad carbs and bad fats.
