Guest guest
Hi. I am new to the list. I've been hanging around, reading, trying to find evidence that the doctors must be wrong. They surely have been before. But in the last few months, I have found nothing that convinces me that they are wrong this time. Only that they are right. Between my two wonderful children, they have RTA, C.P., high blood pressure, migraines, spuratic vomiting, ADD, Asthma, Aeortic valve leakage, bleeding problems, compromised immune systems, small stature with failure to thrive and probably more that I have forgotten to list. Both of my children, 13 and 16, are currently being tested. My son (13) seems to be getting weaker all the time. He has RTA worse than his sister and his lab values are really off right now. But, my one question, for now anyway, is do any of you have or have children that have high blood pressure? Both of my children developed high blood pressure at early ages and it can only be controlled with medication. My son must take two medications (Nifedipine and Clonidine) as one didn't keep it out of the danger level. My daughter takes Lisinipril to control hers. Thanks for being out there. Even though you didn't know I was here, you were a great comfort and support. Best wishes. Kathy
