Try not to get discouraged! Many of us here have collected a variety of

misdiagnoses on the road to mito. Fibromyalgia is one of them, and many

docs consider this to be largely a psychiatric illness. I think it's an

all-too-convenient garbage pail where they dump people when they really

are ignorant of a valid diagnosis.

You have gotten some really good advice here, the MDA being an excellent

choice. It seems to me that most people are happy with the MDA docs. I

do remember that the one in Washington, DC, has never been favored by

those here on this list. Am I remembering correctly that you live in

Florida? We have members there, and I know that Janice is one. Perhaps

she can point you in a good direction.
