Guest guest Posted June 18, 2000 Report Share Posted June 18, 2000 It was brought to my attention (thanks Steve) that I was in error about Surgeon General having Parkinsons. It is another person at a similar level in the govt. It has also been said that people at that level aren't appropriate people to assist in our goal. Sorry for the misinformation, and clearly, a lot of thought has to be given to any political plans. All I ask is that we all start thinking about how we can unite in some sort of political action, which definitely needs funding (even if it is to help in financing trips to DC for people to plead our cause. I would suggest that anyone who has a website dealing with their situation, then " open " your house to people with whom you write your letters to, just like I did.
