Guest guest
Hi: Since being on Coumadin for over a year I have had numerous sinus infections, a urinary tract infection and a nailbed infection. I very rarely had any infections of this type previously. Also my fever blisters are much more painful and they don't heal as fast as before. I know I have asked this question before, about six months ago, but has anyone noticed a propensity for infections since being on Coumadin? Sometimes when I take Coumadin an hour or two later I am in afib..... (especially when I don't drink a full glass of water with it) has anyone noticed a correlation between taking Coumadin and getting afib? Isabelle Coumadin l0mg daily...monitored once a month by lab and interviewed twice a year by pharmacist at a Hospital Coumadin Clinic. Are you taking other medicines? Cotisone like in athsma medicines will slow the healing process. Check with your pharmacist if you are on other meds and see if this situation may be caused by something else. Guy
