Perhaps you can link up with some home-based therapists back home?? I mean

if the move in Early Intervention services is home-based and you can find

some therapists willing to learn the program, why can't parents get a few

months of intensive physical therapy which can then be gradually weaned into

what is considered normal practice here (typically homebased PT is 2x/week in

the natural or home environment).

Clearly, it wold require recruiting therapists and working with a specific

provider as well as making a case to your county Early Intervention or Part C

program.

Just a thought

Maureen,

Just a reminder that Dr. son practices in Canada......I'm not

sure if they have a similar program to our U.S. Early Intervention.
