Guest guest
Today I received the throat culture results for and Cassidy. First, has something called " serratia marcesdems " which they said is uncommon but they have seen this bacteria before. He is on Augmenten and they said that should take care of it. Secondly, Cassidy has 4+ Staphylococcus. The 4+ supposedly meaning that she had A LOT. She has had this before but what scared me was that the nurse said that she needs to talk with the doctor because Cass is resistant to some antibiotics. She is only 3! How can she already be resistant and how do they know this? Is there a blood test or is it from past experience. I am scared for her and curious about how got the one he got. Does anyone know anything about this stuff? Help me. Also, I think that it is very odd that they both had TWO different bacteria but thank --- the ugly pseudonomas didn't show their ugly faces this time. Even though, I know they are probably having a field day with my kids right now. Help! I'm confused and worried.
