Now I know where you were going when i had just joined the group! I hope it went well for you..you write very coherently considering you must be older than your amalgams were! *giggling here* Ive discussed it with my cardio as you suggest and he basically told me about the antibiotics due to the leaky valves but Ive been taking so much new stuff in over the past few visits that I forgot to ask him aboyt the local anaesthetic, and dont see him again till Feb 10th. I will ask my dentist , but you know I often find they know less than we hoped, so Im just trying to be prepared ! I hope you're glad to have your amalgams gone, and a new smile Very brave! Glad it went well! Haze (47yrs, S Lancashire, UK.. adding age n location since it seems to be a UK trend that is starting , lol)

I believe you can come by it in a tea now (caffeine free of course *smile*) Sometimes I can't tell if I'm in afib or having a GERD or acid reflux. Now that's interesting as sometimes I think I have indigestion and if Itake antacid and it does relieve it.But then my basic antiacid is basically milk of magnesia so there's the magnesium input again. So it maybe helping ''indigestion'' or afib! I need to own ECG machine to know! Drinking bottled spring water also helps me some (again higher calcium and magnesium content) Thanks for the info Haze

When I ate yogurt with both bifidus and acidophilus years ago, I developed a sore throat for about a day each time I ate the yogurt. When I tried yogurt with just acidophilus, the sore throat didn't occur. Currently, I have had no ill effects from the acidophilus that I can see. I have been off of the Augmentin XR that necessitated the acidophilus for two weeks now, but I continue to take the acidophilus because it has made such a difference in helping my stomach problems. in sinus in Seattle
