Guest guest
Sorry I haven't been around.I'm anxiously awaiting my appointment tomorrow and Wednesday. I'm also behind on my applications. Tomorrow is going to be a day and a half. My heart is beating (a good thing, eh?) but it's going too fast. I'll have to take a valium. I get to get up at 2 am to help out hubby then get up again at 7 to get read for my early doctor appointment. Bleah. I hope everyone is relatively okay. Elsie, how's the swelling? Down I hope. I must get to bed, it's after midnight. Gotta get this heart to relax a little. Hugs and wellness, Jane _____
Guest guest
Hiya, Jane! Glad to hear from you, I was beginning to worry you'd painted yourself into a corner or something! Rest as much as you can, I hope the cardio guy finds the problem and it's an easy one to fix. Let us know how it goes if you're feeling up to it. Swelling is up and down and up and down and...anyway, somtimes it's pitting edema, sometimes not and nothing I do seems to make a difference. Dr. reluctantly said we could try a diuretic, but I'd rather not, as I 'perspire' by the bucket half a dozen times a day on a slow day, and lots more than that if I am at all active in any way. I have enough trouble keeping my electrolytes balanced as it is without making it worse by losing even more water, so I just have to be patient and try to keep the darn leg up as much as I can. I got a pair of Crocs, they have got to be some of the ugliest things ever put on a human's feet, but they made a HUGE difference in my foot pain! I put a pair of arch supports in them because I've got really high arches, but in just a few days time they've made a great difference for me! But gawd they look awful... Please get better soon, we miss you! Gently, Elsie > > Sorry I haven't been around.I'm anxiously awaiting my appointment tomorrow > and Wednesday. I'm also behind on my applications.
