Guest guest
http://www.meddean.luc.edu/lumen/meded/grossanatomy/h_n/cn/cn1/cn10.htm The above link describes the vagus nerve and it multiple functions. A branch from the vagus nerve works at slowing the heart. The vagus exits the skull near the brain stem. If we have compression, there is more than likely compression of the vagus nerve as well. While searching, I also came up with a simple link that describes the different cranial nerves. http://faculty.washington.edu/chudler/cranial.html Kathleen
