hi everyone

I had it confirmed this morning that I have had a 'missed abortion' at 9 weeks.

THey have given me the option of either a d & c or letting things progress

naturally. Because of my history, I have said I would prefer the natural

approach, and they have suggested I leave it another week. Does anyone have any

opinions as to whether I have done the right thing? On one hand I want

everything

over and done with, on the other I really don't fancy another d & c..... any

advice

much, much appreciated.

Thanks.

Oh : I am so sorry to hear this! So very sorry. I would have

been just about 9 weeks as well but I also miscarried although I did

very early, prior to even finishing 6 weeks.

I think you are right to try to go " natural " if at all possible. My

OB said that given my Asherman's history he would allow me to

go " natural " for miscarriage up to at least 8 weeks if not further. I

would give your body a chance to take care of things on its own but

if you still are not having any bleeding a week from now you might

have to take steps to move things along.

Would you consider taking that medication that is supposed to induce

miscarriage? Methroxidate I think it is? Or could you find an A-list

doctor to perform the GENTLEST D & C in the history of D & C's for you?

Again, I am so sorry for your loss. Take care, I'm thinking of you.

Gwen
