That is a very common misdiagnosis, from what I understand (although not as common as the IBS misdiagnosis) but the two do have very similar symptoms.

I have an aunt that was just diagnosed with crohn's but her symptoms seem more celiac to me. Has anyone ever been misdiagnosed with this before only to find out it was truly celiac?

Hi,

I have both of thoses issues with my body!!i was dx'd with chrons

about 8 months prior to celiac, but i had a blood test that was done

thru promesitis lab in CA that showed the disease.

my celiac blood was borderline, but the other biopsy showed it.

they are very similar, but i tell you, if i could take the 65 pills

i was taking prior to remission for the celiac i sure woould!!!
