Guest guest
My kidney doctor shared the results of my recent bone density exam with me this morning: an increase of 23% in bone density since my last exam in 1998. Pretty good, considering I've had five years of 6- MP, three years of prednisone, and two liver transplants in the interim. Apparently that returns my bone condition to the general vicinity of (I hate this term) " a man my age. " For those wondering: I take Actonel weekly; calcium, vitamin D (cacitriol/Rocaltrol), magnesium, potassium, and a multivitamin daily; and lift weights a couple times a week.
