Guest guest
Beth, My impression is that Dr. Ponseti is reluctant to add the names of doctors to his list unless he is fairly confident that they are using his method properly and getting good outcomes with it. That is probably hard for him to totally know unless he or someone else whose opinion he trusts vouches for the new doctors related to the Ponseti method outcomes of children they have treated. There are probably a number of newly trained Ponseti method doctors who over the past couple of years are using the method that are not listed yet. I think that is why it may be important to ask Dr. Ponseti for a referal to someone close to where each person lives. But it is also helpful for each of us here to share information about new doctors that we are aware of to help those who want to stay closer to home for treatment. and > I just met a OTC today from the Childrens Hospital of Birmingham > Alabama who told me that there are 2 physicians there who are > practicing the Ponseti method as it is meant to be.
