If you would like to know more, here is a link to a great site with lots of great information, and a petition you can sign to try to stop GMO alfalfa and sugar beets (which have not been tested for safety) from being planted. Obama and Vilsack ok'd this despite dire warnings from scientists about the implacations for widespread crop failure and reproductive issues in animals. Alfalfa is a basically a weed... there is absolutley no reason to have a GMO alfalfa!
